Data Deletion

You can delete your NepaIndexaccount, and the personal data attached to it, at any time. You don't need to contact us to do it.

Deleting your account

1. Sign in and open Account Settings. If you signed up with Facebook or Google, use the same button to sign back in.
2. Scroll to Delete Account.
3. Type DELETE to confirm, then choose Delete my account.

We email you straight away to confirm the request and tell you the date it takes effect.

What happens, and when

Deletion is held for 30 days. Nothing is removed during that time and you can cancel from the same screen — this exists so a mistake, or someone else reaching your account, is recoverable. On the 30th day we erase your name, email address, phone number, profile photo and biography, and sign you out everywhere.

Reviews, listings and events you posted stay on the site with your name removed. We keep them because other people rely on them and because removing a business listing would delete information that was never personal to you in the first place. If you need a specific piece of that content taken down as well, ask us and we will.

Records we are required to keep — payment and invoicing history, and moderation logs — are retained for as long as the law requires and are not used for anything else.

If you signed up through Facebook

Removing NepaIndex from your Facebook settings disconnects the two accounts but does not delete your NepaIndex account. Use the steps above for that.

Can't sign in?

Email us at support@nepaindex.com from the address on the account, or use the contact form. We will verify it is yours and delete it for you within 30 days.
