Cookie Policy
This page explains what cookies NepaIndexuses, why, and how you can control them. It covers the browser storage set by this website only — not by any third-party sites you may reach via outbound links (e.g. a listing's own website).
What are cookies?
Cookies (and similar technologies like localStorage) are small pieces of data a website stores in your browser to remember information between visits — like whether you're signed in, or which cookie preferences you've already chosen.
The categories we use
| Category | Purpose | Can you opt out? |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Signing in, search, checkout, and remembering your cookie choice itself. | No — the site can't function without these. |
| Analytics | Google Analytics (GA4) — page views, search behavior, and which listings/events are popular, so we can improve search and measure performance. | Yes — see “Your choices” below. |
| Marketing | Meta (Facebook) Pixel — measures and helps personalize ads shown to you on Meta's platforms. | Yes — see “Your choices” below. |
Your choices
The banner shown on your first visit lets you Accept All, Reject Non-Essential, or Customize analytics and marketing individually. Nothing in the Analytics or Marketing categories runs before you make that choice — both stay off by default. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser's site data for nepaindex.com, which brings the banner back on your next visit.
