FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best time of year for wildlife sightings?+

October to March has the most comfortable weather and good visibility. Late February to April is best for rhino and tiger sightings once the elephant grass is cut back.

Are park permits included in the safari price?+

Yes, all national park entry permits and guide fees are included in the quoted safari price.

Do you offer elephant rides?+

No. We stopped offering elephant-back safaris on welfare grounds and run jeep, canoe, and walking safaris instead, plus visits to the elephant breeding centre.

Saw four rhinos on the first morning drive. Our naturalist was extremely knowledgeable.
